David Wodehouse (Otis)is an English-born actor who has worked as an internationally renowned stand-up comedian for over 45 years. In 1962, he opened for Dusty Springfield and toured with Adam Faith, and also worked the Empire Theatre with The Beatles. Wodehouse hosted his own hour-long television variety show in Australia in the '60s and performed as the comedy opener for Ray Charles, Shirley Bassey, Dick Haymes, Kathryn Grayson, Jane Russel and Frankie Lane. After meeting his wife (American singer Jan Brinker) in Australia, the two embarked on a world tour in '65 and '66 performing on the Hilton hotel circuit. Wodehouse entertained U.S. troops in Vietnam, and then performed worldwide with Princess Cruises, Holland America, Celebrity Cruises and others. He is now semi-retired and living with his wife in Oregon. |
